Siapa kami
Kiddotime dibuat dan dikelola oleh Asrafil (pengembang perorangan, Jakarta, Indonesia). Pertanyaan tentang privasi bisa dikirim ke [email protected].
Kiddotime adalah alat untuk orang tua: orang tua memilih lama waktu bermain, dan saat waktu habis tablet menampilkan layar kunci yang hanya bisa dibuka dengan PIN orang tua. Aplikasi ini ditujukan untuk orang tua, bukan untuk anak-anak.
Data yang diproses saat masuk dengan Google
Untuk masuk, Kiddotime memakai Google Sign-In melalui Firebase Authentication (layanan Google LLC). Data berikut dikirim ke Firebase:
- nama akun Google,
- alamat email,
- URL foto profil Google,
- ID akun Google, serta ID pengguna (UID) yang dibuat Firebase.
Firebase juga memproses alamat IP dan informasi perangkat/browser (user agent) untuk keamanan dan mencegah penyalahgunaan. Data ini hanya dipakai untuk mengenali akun orang tua. Kiddotime tidak memiliki server sendiri dan tidak mengirim data lain ke mana pun.
Data yang hanya tersimpan di tablet
Data berikut dibuat di aplikasi dan tidak pernah dikirim keluar dari perangkat:
- profil anak yang diisi orang tua: nama panggilan, simbol alam yang dipilih, dan lama main biasanya;
- riwayat sesi bermain (waktu mulai dan selesai);
- PIN orang tua dan kode pemulihan, yang disimpan hanya dalam bentuk hash (PBKDF2 dengan salt), bukan angka aslinya;
- pilihan bahasa dan status sesi yang sedang berjalan.
Data ini terhapus saat aplikasi di-uninstall atau saat akun dihapus dari dalam aplikasi.
Yang tidak kami lakukan
- Tidak menampilkan iklan.
- Tidak memakai SDK analitik atau pelacakan.
- Tidak menjual atau membagikan data kepada pihak ketiga.
- Tidak mengakses lokasi, kontak, kamera, mikrofon, foto, atau file.
Izin yang diminta dan alasannya
- Tampil di atas aplikasi lain: menampilkan layar kunci di atas aplikasi yang sedang dipakai anak.
- Notifikasi: menampilkan hitung mundur dan pengingat 1 menit sebelum waktu habis.
- Alarm & pengingat: mengunci tablet tepat waktu walau aplikasi ditutup.
- Layanan latar depan: menjaga timer tetap berjalan selama sesi bermain.
- Berjalan saat perangkat dinyalakan: memasang kembali kunci setelah tablet di-restart.
- Internet: hanya untuk masuk dengan Google.
- Pengecualian optimasi baterai bersifat opsional; orang tua mengaturnya sendiri di Setelan sistem.
Anak-anak
Kiddotime dipakai dan diatur oleh orang tua. Anak tidak membuat akun dan tidak memasukkan data apa pun. Nama panggilan anak yang diisi orang tua hanya tersimpan di tablet.
Penyimpanan dan penghapusan data
Data akun di Firebase disimpan selama akun masih ada. Akun bisa dihapus kapan saja dari dalam aplikasi atau lewat email; caranya ada di halaman Hapus akun. Setelah dihapus, Firebase dapat menyimpan log keamanan untuk waktu terbatas sesuai kebijakan Google.
Keamanan
Komunikasi dengan Firebase dienkripsi (TLS). PIN dan kode pemulihan tidak pernah disimpan dalam bentuk asli.

Privacy Policy — Kiddotime: Kids Lock Timer

Who we are
Kiddotime is built and maintained by Asrafil, an individual developer based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Privacy questions: [email protected].
Kiddotime is a tool for parents: a parent picks how long a child may play, and when time is up the tablet shows a lock screen that only opens with the parent's PIN. The app is intended for parents, not directed at children.
Data processed when you sign in with Google
Kiddotime uses Google Sign-In through Firebase Authentication (a Google LLC service). The following is sent to Firebase:
- your Google account name,
- email address,
- Google profile photo URL,
- Google account ID, plus a user ID (UID) assigned by Firebase.
Firebase also processes your IP address and device/browser information (user agent) for security and abuse prevention. This data is used only to identify the parent's account. Kiddotime has no server of its own and sends nothing else anywhere.
Data that stays on the tablet
The following is created in the app and never leaves the device:
- child profiles entered by the parent: nickname, chosen nature symbol, and usual play time;
- play-session history (start and end times);
- the parent PIN and recovery code, stored only as salted PBKDF2 hashes, never as the actual digits;
- language preference and the state of the current session.
This data is removed when the app is uninstalled or when the account is deleted from inside the app.
What we don't do
- No ads.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No selling or sharing of data with third parties.
- No access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files.
Permissions and why
- Display over other apps: shows the lock screen on top of whatever app the child is using.
- Notifications: shows the countdown and a heads-up one minute before time is up.
- Alarms & reminders: locks the tablet on time even if the app is closed.
- Foreground service: keeps the timer running during a play session.
- Run at startup: restores the lock after the tablet restarts.
- Internet: only for Google sign-in.
- The battery-optimisation exemption is optional; the parent sets it in system Settings.
Children
Kiddotime is set up and operated by parents. Children don't create accounts or enter any data. A child's nickname entered by the parent stays on the tablet.
Retention and deletion
Firebase account data is kept while the account exists. You can delete the account at any time from inside the app or by email; see Delete account. After deletion, Firebase may keep security logs for a limited time under Google's policies.
Security
Communication with Firebase is encrypted (TLS). The PIN and recovery code are never stored in their original form.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version and its effective date will be published on this page.
